One of our Further Education College with campuses and learning centres spread across south and south east London, seek a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic SEN teacher to work with their students aged 16 – 25 on a permanent basis.
Candidate should have high expectation of young adults and strive to bring out the very best of students on the SEN register who are studying a range of academic and vocational courses. The most important factor is that you should have excellent understanding of how to engage with, motivate and get the very best outcomes for FE students on the SEN register. Experience of working in the FE sector would be an asset.
The successful candidate will need to have QTS, QTLS or equivalent and be able to work both independently and as part of a well-supported and corporative team. Previous experience of working in SEN settings would be an advantage, although NQTs are very welcome to apply. Experience of teaching literacy, numeracy and science would be an asset but a wide range of other subject specialisms will be considered.
